I really thought you should this about one of your employees. I recently started bringing my trucks to Heritage Chevrolet for servicing and maintenance issues. Whitlow Chevrolet closed down after I bought my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD (got a REALLY great deal on),since then I have been looking for a service center where I can bring my trucks to. I started with Royal Chevrolet that is where I bought my 2010 Chevrolet Colorado. To say the absolute least I was not impressed with their customer service, it did not help since they lost one of truck's keys and could not find it. I have gone to Merchants for basic maintenance tires and oil changes. I have experience with Merchants and its on the fair side. I had a friend tell that his ex-father in-law has been coming to you guys for 20 years, that's right what a relationship he has with ya'll. With that information I could not resist but to give Heritage a fair try. I have been dealing with Donnie Foster service area for at least six months and I will say he has treated me with nothing but kindness and patients. I can tell him what I want done to my trucks it gets done and not only that he wants to create a history with my trucks. When he calls about an issue or if I am coming close to mileage maintenance soon he informs me and that type of stuff means a lot to me. I am confine to a wheelchair. Donnie surprised me when he called me to give me an update on my truck, it seemed that my muffler had com apart. Instead of me having to take the truck to a place that he recommends, he told me that he would see that it got and back with the repairs. That shocked me! Most people will not understand the time and aggravation he saved me. I will buy and continue to bring my vehicles to Heritage Chevrolet Service Center, all because of Donnie Foster.
Sorry for the lengthy email, I felt something needed to be said about Donnie up holding Heritage Chevrolet's reputation. Thank you for reading and listening to me. I would post this on Facebook I have no idea if this kind of stuff ya'll want on there.

"FWIW (for what it's worth), I just bought (a three-year-old) Impala for 13.5K at the local Chevy dealer (Heritage Chevy in Chester, VA) with only 11K miles, so there are some pretty good deals out there. These cars are a lot of times used by "geezers" (sort of like me) and you can find them used and in very good shape w/low miles. 02C."

"Dear Mr. Burchell, on Wednesday, June 22 my daughter and I were heading home to NY when our car suddenly acted up after slowing up for a construction zone. The speedometer wouldn't move off of zero, the car wouldn't shift and according to the GPS we were traveling between 10-20 miles per hour. As you know route 95 is very busy with fast moving traffic.
We were able to get the car to the side of the road, but no way to get out of the car for fear of getting hit by oncoming traffic. I called AAA to see if they could help get us to the nearest Chevy dealership. They suggested a place where they could tow us to, when we called they informed us they were no longer in business, but were kind enough to give us the phone number to your dealership.
As a mom my biggest fear was someone hitting us, with my daughter being on the driver's side I was scared to death! When I called your dealership a gentleman named Josh from sales answered the phone. He was so kind and patient while I explained what was going on with the car. He took our information and gave us directions to your place and said he would walk the note over to the service department as soon as we hung up. The calmness in his voice helped my calm down. .
When we arrived at your dealership they directed us to the service department, they were expecting us, had a ticket already made up which expedited our time there. We were treated with kindness and they got us in even though they were extremely busy. John Kinton the Service Manager was so kind to keep us in the loop and let us know what was going on. When it was all done they repaired the speedometer cable and sent us on our way without a charge for the service.
The kindness of Josh and John and everyone involved put the belief back in us that there are good people and companies out there. Your company and staff are truely the back bone of America and should be commended for it! Please thank Josh and John for going the extra mile that day to help a mother and daughter get home safely! "Showed up on service doorstep first thing Friday morning with numerous issues on trip from Florida to Baltimore. Was greeted before 7 am (hard working Donnie), told would work me into schedule although it was full. Started diagnostics at 8:10 am! Faulty fuel pump was replaced (fortunately warrany covered it). Estimate at 9 am was for noon completion, and I drove away at 12:15. EVERYONE said hello as they walked by during the morning. The mechanic answered and explained all my questions. Service manager checked in with me about every half hour with a progress report. I can't imagine getting better service, and they knew I was just passing through. "On 2/9/2011, I called Heritage Chevrolet and talked with service representative Mr. Donnie Foster. He made an appointment for 1430 hours to have my 2008 Tahoe serviced. I requested a oil and filter change, in addition to having the drivers inside door handle replaced. The door handle had a defect that caused it to cut my fingers when opening the drivers door. My contact by phone and in person with Mr. Foster was an excellent experience.
